Oracy
Oracy goes way beyond academic achievement. It is imperative for all students to be able to fully divulge in social, emotional and interpersonal skills, including self-confidence, resilience and empathy for others. Here at Cudham, we believe that nurturing the way our children speak and interact is key to the children thriving in their futures. Following the Oracy Framework, we focus to ensure the pupils have a vast knowledge and are consistently manifesting high levels of cognitive and linguistic skills and offer a range of support to children who many find challenges within this framework. It is imperative that children use oracy to a high standard, which will then, in time, embed into the pupils’ writing.
